Top Five 2017 Halloween Costumes

Halloween will be here before you know it. That means it is time once again to start getting together a killer costume. Whether you are planning to buy one of the TV Store’s costumes or put together a costume on your own, you need to get started as soon as possible to give yourself time to get it right. To help you get started, take a look below at this list of the five hottest Halloween costumes for this year.

1. Superhero

Whether you are a Marvel or DC comic fan, there has never been a hotter time to go as your favorite superhero for Halloween. With the huge success of the recent Wonder Woman movie, you know that many ladies will be going as Diana this year. Other Justice League members like Batman, Superman and Aquaman will also be trendy for Halloween 2017.

2. Star Wars

If your geek love runs more to the sci-fi side, you may want to go as a member of the Star Wars universe this Halloween. With anticipation building mightily for The Last Jedi, there will undoubtedly be hordes of Luke Skywalkers running around this year. Rey and Finn will be popular as well, and no doubt loads of people will walk around as Chewbacca, Darth Vader and all the other beloved favorites from the franchise.

3. Tyrannosaurus Rex

The cool new inflatable T-rex costumes they make today are perfect for fans of the most beloved dinosaur in history. There is nothing more adorable than to see someone in a T-rex costume with the teeny arms flailing around. You are sure to get lots of laughs if you decide to go as a tyrannosaurus this Halloween.

4. Pirate

Pirates have always been one of the most popular Halloween costumes over the years. You can dress as Jack Sparrow or one of the more traditional pirates like Blackbeard. Whichever pirate you decide to choose, going as a pirate is as much about your commitment to doing the pirate voice as it is about the costume. A readiness to growl, “RRRGGH,” at the drop of a hat will ensure your portrayal of a pirate is a hit at your Halloween party this year.

5. Princess

Another timeless Halloween costume is the princess. No doubt there will be many Princess Leias this year due to the sad passing of Carrie Fisher. She is the latest Disney Princess. Disney has the biggest selection of princesses to choose from, including classic favorites like Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty and newer entries like Mulan, Pocahontas and Merida.

Halloween is all about having fun, and that includes putting together your costume. Don’t look at it as a chore. Make the process of getting your costume as enjoyable as possible. Get together with some trusted friends and have a brainstorming session to decide on your costumes. Going as a group with themed costumes is a blast. Not matter what costume you choose, remember to have fun.
